Tidecall Tactics
★★★★☆ 4.3
Tidecall Tactics is slow in the best way. You place units on a hex grid, read the enemy pattern, and try to hold a shrinking coastline. Every mission is a small puzzle, and losing usually means you missed something obvious, not that the game cheated.
It respects touch controls too. Tapping to move and confirming with a second tap avoids the fat-finger disasters other grid games have. We especially liked the optional challenge maps that strip away your best units.
What we liked
- Clean touch controls
- Puzzle-like missions
- Fair, readable difficulty
